Revised Means Test Numbers

The following Means Test figures are revised effective May 15, 2023: The IRS National Standards for Bankruptcy Allowable Living Expenses (BALE), Local Transportation Expense Standards, and the Chapter 13 Administrative Expense Multipliers. After updating Best Case by Stretto, users can view the new figures in the program by changing the expected filing date to May 15, 2023 or later in the General tab in Form 122.

    • Household goods W. Va. Code § 38-10-4(c). Per item limit increased from $400.00 to $800.00 and aggregate limit increased from $8,000.00 to $16,000.00 – effective June 2023
