See if a debtor is above or below the median income level based on state and household size.

  1. Choose the state in which the debtor(s) reside(s).
  2. Enter the number of people in the household.
  3. Enter in the Average Gross Monthly Income (Pre-Tax) for the prior six (6) months for the debtor(s).
  4. Click "Compare" to see whether the debtors income falls below or above the selected states median income amount for the household size you entered.
  5. The results section will display the states Median Income Amount for the household size you entered, the debtors Gross Yearly Income (Pre-Tax) and the difference between the two.
